At the zoo

Mum took me to the zoo during the week and it was fun although a bit scary. The white tigers while lying around looked intimidating - lucky I could hide in Mum's sarong sling. When it came to home time, it poured down so hard that it was difficult to hear.

Girls just wanna have fun...

Cindy Lauper said so and I am glad that these girls choose me too. I wonder if this will last for the next 25 or so years?.....

If you're a girl and want to be famous(!) by being on my blog site, email me!!

This weeks lesson focused on addition (basic maths) and the letter B.

Dad is a great example of the maths equation in the title, and he is bald as well.

Great times with great grandpa

GGP comes to visit and help look after me so that Mum can go to work. GGP is so much fun, I still dont know what he says but he calms me down and plays with me. He looks abit like George Gregan but moves faster.

I will be going to Hamilton in the future and GGP knows that there are lots of cows down there - so he has been teaching me all about cows. I just look at the black circles and get GGP to hit the cow so it moo's.

My first bbq

On Sunday night, Dad cooked up a bbq. He put me in charge of making sure everything was welldone - seems pretty silly as that is all he seems to do when he is in charge of the bbq - pointless to have two people doing the same thing.

This time he had a ripper and I just stared at the stars, and the bbq as well.

Eating Taro

In just eight weeks....

You wont find this in tourist brochures

This weekend Grandma, Avo', Mum and Dad took me to the wet market to buy some groceries. It was real fun and people who come to Singapore probably wouldnt see a wet market while they are here.

Its slightly different to supermarkets where "fresh" meat comes from the farm, goes to the abbatoir, then goes to the processor, then to the distributor, then into storage, and then is packaged nicely in gladwrap and a plastic tray with a sticker, and then put on the shelf - all those hands just to ensure freshness. Then it is sold by people wearing matching uniforms and smiles.

At the wet market, you get all the smiles but the produce comes straight from the processor. They dont bother with nice packaging, just a plastic bag - its real convenient. In addition to fish and pork, we bought some kampong chicken. In supermarkets and high end stores, its called organic chicken and comes with a premium.

The vege stall even sells the taro bro. Its cood aye.

The wet market should be part of anyone's tourist itinerary when they come to Singapore.

Good times with Mum....

I wake everyone up at 5.30 just so Mum can do all her things and spend time with me. Mum has taken over most of my training program - Dad does the cleaning up, showering, picking up cones, collecting bibs etc.

This week I managed to creep to the end of the cot, once i was there I whinged so that i could do it again. Mum tries picking me up while I am holding her fingers - it makes me change my nappies often but it is real fun.

When I am with Mum I usually smile pretty hard - real smiles unlike the other one on this site.

Some times with Dad....

Mum hasnt dropped Dad off to work lately as Mum is getting ready to start working. I help out by regularly waking up at 5.30 so Mum can do some exercise while Dad sits around and feeds me. It looks like Dad needs some exercise and him and I are having a chin growing contest - its pretty close at the moment.

Dad took me for a couple of swims during the week - as long as the water is warm its ok. Dad said that it was a recovery session - not sure what from - he was at cricket all day even though it got rained off.
